Location

Because Whimsy in Bloom does not operate a floral shop, consultations are by appointment only.  Please call or e-mail to schedule an appointment.

Consultations

Whimsy in Bloom only provides for one event per weekend.  Please call early on in your planning to schedule a consultation.  A consultation will take place before formally booking the date of your event.  This allows you the opportunity to determine whether Whimsy in Bloom is the best fit for your wedding. I would also like to ensure that I will be able to provide the time, attention, and level of service that your special event will require.

Please come to your consultation prepared with your floral budget (traditionally about 8-10% of your overall wedding budget), a list of quantities needed, color swatches  that you would like incorporated in your designs, invitation designs if you would like to incorporate their style into your decor, fabric swatches, any pictures of the dresses in the wedding you may have, and photos of any floral designs that you like.

Whimsy in Bloom suggests that you also bring the following information to your consultation if you have it available:

*Ceremony date, time and location (address and phone number)
*Wedding coordinator’s name and contact info
*Any flower restrictions
*Aisle length and number of pews or chairs
*Names of wedding party, relatives and others who will receive flowers

*Name and phone number of your photographer
*Time and location of pictures

*Reception location including full address, coordinator’s name and contact info
*The time your reception is scheduled to start
*Set-up time allowed if there is a prior event

*Name of bakery and contact info for contact person if you choose to decorate your cake with flowers
*Style and size of your cake

If you are not sure of exactly what style your floral arrangements will take, Whimsy in Bloom has an array of current magazines, wedding books, and previous work to help inspire the look that will best reflect your personality and the style you wish to convey at your special event.

If you do not have a predetermined budget, we will present you with a quote based on the requests you make during your consultation.

In the event that you choose Whimsy in Bloom as your floral designer, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your wedding date.

Accessories

Whimsy in Bloom has several accessories available for purchase including ring bearer pillows and candles.  Please inquire about any additional accessory needs you may have during your consultation.

Pricing

Whimsy in Bloom creates floral designs for events of all sizes and budgets.  Pricing mainly depends on the budget and desires of the couple. The size of the wedding party, amount and style of the ceremony and reception decorations greatly impact pricing.  The seasonality of flowers can also affect the cost of the arrangements, and I will be happy to suggest alternatives that fit your budget in order to create the style you want.

Please note this is only a list of general prices.  Prices will be determined by the type and size of arrangements and flowers used.
