What We Do

Whimsy in Bloom is a floral design studio specializing in creating stylish custom floral arrangements for weddings that will fit nearly every budget.  My goal is to make your event a beautiful expression of who you are and what you love. Every piece is custom designed to suit our clients. From a sleek and modern celebration to a romantic garden style wedding, my designs will showcase your unique personality and style in every facet of each design.

Whimsy in Bloom will work with your venue, your ceremony site, your décor, your bridal party’s attire, your cake, and even stationery to create an elegant and harmonious appearance to your event.

Although we specialize in weddings, we also design for special events such as engagement parties, bridal showers, and baby showers.

About Michelle

Whimsy in Bloom started with my own wedding. I enjoyed designing my own centerpieces and received many complements, and even received an offer from a hotel guest to purchase one of my centerpieces for his wife the morning after the event! Friends asked me to design arrangements for their bridal showers, baby showers and other special events.

Although I had already received my business degree from the University of St. Thomas, I furthered my education with floral classes from the Institute of Floristy in Minneapolis, learning from the incredible Ardith Beveridge, AIFD.

I feel passionate about the way gorgeous flowers can transform your wedding from just another party into the once-in-a-lifetime event that it truly is.
